We partner with incredible humans in underfunded states to save kitties from high kill shelters. We then give them a shot to thrive in animal-loving Denver by finding them forever homes via our cat café, Denver Cat Company.
Our Mission
Our mission is two-fold. We save kitties at high risk of euthanasia from states that lack the funding and resources to control, vet, and adopt out their cat population. Second, we bring these cats to Denver’s cat-loving community via the cat café.
We partner with various organizations to accomplish our rescue objectives.
Denver Cat Rescue fills a gap in rescue services by connecting adoptable kitties in underserved, overpopulated states with adopters in the Denver metro area where adoption demand exceeds supply. Denver Cat Rescue’s sister company, the cat café, enables us to gain a high degree of visibility for our rescue kitties who quickly find great homes.
Denver Cat Company was founded in December 2014 and has served tens of thousands of customers, providing patrons with a cat fix and finding rescue kitties forever homes.
Denver Cat Rescue takes in and finds homes for an average 500+ cats each year.
Denver Cat Company has facilitated over 4,000 adoptions over the last 7+ years.
